Les Écrins
Les Écrins is our home: an 18th-century manor house, or maison de maître, tucked into the hills of Orbey in the Alsatian Vosges. Four rooms, an outdoor hot tub facing the hills, and a homemade breakfast we take rather seriously. We are Camille and Laurent. We run the house ourselves and would love to show you our part of Alsace, from the wine villages to the mountain trails.

Amethyst, Tourmaline, Celestine and Aventurine. Our four rooms are named after gemstones, a nod to the house itself: in French, an écrin is a jewel case.
Each room has its own personality, with the same promise throughout: refined comfort, a warm atmosphere and beds we chose with great care, dressed in soft Linvosges linen.

Slow mornings, full days, quiet evenings
Days here tend to begin slowly, over a generous homemade breakfast. Then it is out into Alsace: wine villages, forest trails, a market or two, with a few tips from us if you would like them. Later, the house is waiting. Time in the garden, a soak in the hot tub as the light fades, perhaps a massage. We are happy to help arrange whatever makes your stay feel like your own.

What makes a guesthouse different from a hotel?
Mostly, the people. Les Écrins is our home, and it is the two of us who welcome you, make your breakfast and share our favourite corners of Alsace. In place of a reception desk, there is us, always just a message away. The rest of the time, you are free to enjoy the house at your own pace.

Secure parking with an electric car charger, a covered garage for bikes and motorbikes, Wi-Fi throughout the house, a picnic basket for your day in the hills, or a glass of local wine and a sharing board when you get back. It is all here, along with Potiron and Pumpkin, the two cats who share the house with us.
